Authorship and Contributor Roles Policy
To ensure transparency, ethical conduct, and proper recognition of individual contributions in academic publishing, the journal adheres to the principles of the Contributor Role Taxonomy (CRediT). This framework recognizes individual author contributions within a publication, ensuring professional and ethical integrity while preventing authorship disputes, gift authorship, ghost authorship, and other ethical concerns in academic publishing.
During manuscript submission, the submitting author is strongly encouraged to specify a contributor role for each co-author. These roles include Conceptualization, Methodology, Software, Validation, Formal Analysis, Investigation, Resources, Data Curation, Writing – Original Draft, Writing – Review and Editing, Visualization, Supervision, Project Administration, and Funding Acquisition (see more).
Use of AI
Authors must be transparent about the use of Artificial Intelligence tools such as ChatGPT and other large language models in the manuscript preparation, and disclose details of how the AI tool was used within the "Materials and Methods" section.
